Champadevi Hiking - A Day Hiking Around Kathmandu Valley.

  • 2.Trailhead: The trailhead is located in Pharping, near the Dakshinkali Temple. You can also hire a guide to take you on the hike.
  • 3.Hiking Route: The Champadevi hike is a 6.5 kilometer (4 mile) round trip hike that takes around 5-6 hours to complete. The trail starts with a steep ascent, but it gradually becomes easier as you hike higher. The trail passes through lush forests, terraced farmlands, and a small village before reaching the summit. You can end your hike at Taudaha all the way descending from the Champadevi Hill
  • 4.What to Bring: It is recommended to bring plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, and a hat. Wear comfortable hiking shoes and clothing that will protect you from the sun and insects. Don't forget your camera to capture the stunning views.
  • 5.Best Time to Hike: The best time to hike Champadevi is from September to November or from March to May, when the weather is clear and the views are at their best.
